The two main characteristics of the wellness approach to physical activity are undoubtedly balance and moderation. Each proposed activity must in fact be adequate to the abilities and characteristics of the subjects who practice them and free from stressful and/or traumatic aspects, which sports disciplines often entail.

Why wellness?

The term wellness has spread throughout the world at the same time as the awareness that today's society exposes people to states of physical and psychological stress that are at the origin of many pathologies. Wellness has as its first objective to propose virtuous behaviors in physical activities, in nutrition and in the "maintenance" of one's emotional state.

What's Included

  • A set of cardiovascular activities to be performed at an intensity appropriate to the age and general condition of the subject (walking, running, cycling, swimming...)
  • Resistance exercises aimed at improving neuromuscular strength capacity and muscle tone (free body, overloads, machines...)
  • Exercises aimed at increasing muscle and tendon flexibility, joint mobility and balance and coordination ability (power yoga, pilates, gentle gymnastics...)
  • Exercises to induce a state of general relaxation (breathing exercises, stretching, yoga...)
